What?! Some people still live in rented houses in the UAE?! Poor people! I think Jordan, Palestine, Egypt, Iraq and all the other RICH Arab countries should donate to the UAE. Let’s start and initiative, we’ll call it a free house for every citizen in the UAE. It’s so pathetic not to own a house in your country! I mean doesn’t everyone own his house in Europe and the USA? I thought the concept of renting was gone a long time ago! This is a real problem in the Arab world, let’s give it some priority here!

Oh and does anyone have an extra house in Amman to donate? I currently live in a rented flat! I’m so pathetic!

لقد بدأ موسم الصيف.. ومع بدايته تبدأ ثمار التووت بالنضوج. وفي منزل أهلي توجد شجرتا تووت كبيرتين. ومن أجمل الأشياء، أن تتسلق الشجرة وتقوم بأكل الثمار مباشرة. وهناك طريقة أخرى لجمع التووت وهي أن تفرد حصيرة أسفل الشجرة ثم تقوم بهزها. في العادة فإن ثمار التووت الأبيض تنضج قبل الأحمر. ولكن الفترة بينهما ليست بالطويلة.

تحمل شجرة التووت في مخيلتي ذكريات كثيرة… بدءاً من شجرة التووت الكبيرة التي كانت في حاكورة منزل جدتي رحمها الله. إلى تلك الشجرات في منزل أهلي. تلك التي تربيت وكبرت معها. والآن أصبحت الشجرات تذكرني دائماً بهذا الموقع. ولذلك عندما زرت بيت أهلي آخر مرّه قمت بتصوير التووت من على الشجرة ومن على الأرض لأقوم بنشرها في مدونة تووت.
