For Web 2.0 lovers

It is difficult for developers and web experts in the Arab World to be on the brink of what’s happening in web 2.0 domain, like many other things!

So it is always great to follow up on the action whenever it is possible. Ten days ago, Carson Workshops published the podcasts of speakers who participated in a one-day conference about web apps and its future. Head to the their page!

Salaam; let me get to the point,
You asked why you don’t see much Arabic website or Arab experts are doing anything about the 2.0!! It’s simple, because even the Western world has no idea about it, and besides, why do you need to develop something when you would not see that much of usage! (I mean from the Arabian market), most of the Arabic-Internet-users are only treating this mass network of computers to do instant messaging and spamming forums with useless content, (I’m not saying all of us do that, but it’s the majority).

By the way, yes I might have said bad stuff just now, but I and a team of mine are doing something interesting, and yes it will deal with AJAX and some 2.0 stuff… but our main concern is not to be called “even terrorists can do 2.0” we would like to backed up by local companies who would wanna use our software (I mean Middle-Eastern), and say “let’s support these kids, if they can do this with no support imagine what can they do with support”
