Movers and Shakers
Been studying the votes streaming in (and they are plenty) for the design competition and man, it’s one hot race to the top!
Moorish Girl, Bloboz, Sabri Hakim, Tololy’s Box, Subzero Blue, One Big Construction Site, Bakkouz, Earth to Omar, 2:48 AM, Pheras, Sabbah’s Blog, Al-Doktorah, The Black Iris, and Rampurple are in hot water.
The blogs closely following and submerged in lukewarm water include Jacqui, Mental Mayhem, Tata Botata, Beirut Lemons, Big Pharoah, Mahmood’s Den, Tech Hash, Cocktail, Hamoud Studio, Rantings of a Sandmonkey, Saudi Jeans, Manal and Alaa’s Bit Bucket, Into the Wind, Al-Qitat Il Amyaa’, Farah’s Sowaleef, Tomanbay, Kuwaiti Chopper, Rants and Rambles, Nzingha’s Soapbox and M. ERRRGH!
Why did you have to spill out the beans and just tell everybody! Now you blew my cover! You have to make everybody think that I’m a loser, so that I can surprise them and win at the end!! That’s my strategy to winning! HAHAHAHAHA!
Anyways, people, you have got to vote for me! I’m out of a job, and can’t find a real one yet (The ushering thing is just a contract which gets me a temporary job every month for like a week or so).
So basically, I’m broke! And of course because nobody actually donated any money whatsoever on my birthday, you all have to vote for me and consider this as a birthday present! Yallah vote up for simplicity, vote for Pheras :D

If there was a competition for banners alone, it would have to be One Big Construction Site - his is just brilliant.
Oh yes - and if you ever hold a competition for “plainest/most boring/monochrome blogs” - do let me know, because I think I could be in absolutely boiling water ;)

umm, i just wanted to point out that some people are voting in the top 10 under the assumption that this is the competition, probably because they’ve never been to the site before.
